Trick or Treat

Libby and I took the boys to Gardners Village today for lunch. It was fun for them to see everyone in costumes. Later on, we went to trick or treating with all the cousins. Honestly, I just thought we would go to a few houses and be done. Nope. Jack was all about it. He loved saying TRICK OR TREAT. Plus, he thought he was such a big boy hanging out with his older cousins. But, he did the funniest thing tonight. On one of the houses they went to, Jack just stood there after getting his candy. I kept saying, "Come on, Jack. Let's go!" All of a sudden he walks into the house, drops his bag and heads straight for the dog. It was hilarious! Luckily, the lady thought it was funny too. Jack would have stayed if I would have let him. Anyway, there were too many pictures to choose from. So, there's a lot. Enjoy!

Coolest. Mom. Ever.

Seriously, I really am. And yes, I'm bragging. We live by a hospital so we always see the helihopter (yes, I meant to spell it that way). Whenever we see it, Jack acts like it's his very first time seeing it. He gets so excited! Last Sunday, we waited for 30 minutes hoping we would be able to watch it take off. We finally left. But, today when we were outside, I saw it circling around. So, I practically threw Jack in the car and drove over to the hospital. We got out of the car so he could get a better look. Of course, Jack is saying hi to all the guys. They were so nice and let us come through the gate...and even let Jack sit in the helihopter. Not kidding, I think Jack was freaking out cause he was so excited. Anyway, as we were getting ready to leave Jack jumped out of my arms and into one of the pilots. I said, "Jack, mommy is leaving." Jack said, "Bye, mom!" I'm sure he was thinking "Hello, idiot, I'm by a helihopter...what makes you think I'm leaving with you?" I'm so glad they let him sit in it. It made his day. I didn't bring my camera because I thought that since it was a Life Watch helicopter there was probably someone in it. Maybe next time. I'm still a cool mom though.

Daddy Punkers

Jack is such a sweet little boy. Whenever he sees 3 of anything, like hotwheels, he says it's mommy, daddy and Jack. If there is 2 of anything it's always mommy and Jack. On Sunday, we were outside on the porch and Jack was playing with the 3 punkers. He was calling them mommy, daddy and Jack. So, I decided we would take a drive to the cemetery and take a punkers to Danny. When we left he just waved and said, "Bye dad!" It just cracked me up that he was so casual about calling him dad.

I really can not put into words how sweet it was when he ran over to Danny's stone and put the punkers right on Danny's picture. He was saying, "Wook (yes wook. not look)Daddy, wook! It's punkers! See Daddy, see!!!"

Painting Gone Wrong

I have said before in previous posts that Jack loves to help cook. Today I wanted to make cookies without my little helper. So, I decided to distract him by letting him paint. Jack loves to paint...he does it several times a week. For some reason, I decided to take his shirt off before he started...glad I did. After I saw his work of art I decided to put him in the kitchen sink because it was close. Now, he thinks the sink is where he needs to take a bath. Great. What have I started?

Jack, Please Just...

SMILE!! Jack and I had our pictures taken yesterday and Jack was a S.T.I.N.K.E.R!! I know I know, hard to imagine right? He even fell into a very shallow river getting his pants all wet. By the end, I almost pulled my hair out. I promised him every toy under the sun if he would please just smile. Nothin. But, somehow our amazing photographer, Vanessa, was able to get some really good shots. I can't wait to see the rest. If you want a little peek go to http://picmephotos.blogspot.com/2008/10/miss-tj-and-mr-jack.html Enjoy!

Butt Not Working

This morning Jack and I were laying in bed reading books when he let out the LOUDEST toot ever. I couldn't help but laugh. It was so funny. When he saw the reaction he got from me, he tried and tried to push another toot out. I mean, his face looked like it was going to explode he was pushing so hard. Finally, he looked at me and said, "momma, butt not working." Of course, I thought it was hilarious that he said that. So, throughout the day he reminded me that his butt isn't working. I love Jack.

Carving our Punkers

He's Baaaack...

Jack was a little "backed up" last week. Felt horrible for the little guy. Clearly, the prune juice worked. Yes, all these diapers are just from today.

Mr. Clean Mr. Clean Mr. Clean

Mr. Clean gets rid of dirt and grime
And grease in just a minute
Mr. Clean will clean your whole house
And everything that's in it

Jack has turned into his mother...which is not necessarily a bad thing. But, if you know me, you know I can't stand dust. Gross. I have to wipe down everything a couple times a week. I also like to vacuum. Obviously, Jack has seen me do these things a time or two. Anyway, Jack LOVES Aunt Wibby's vacuum (it's cooler than mine). Whenever she pulls it out, Jack comes a runnin. He tells her he wants to help. Personally, I think she's taking advantage of him. I mean, she doesn't even pay him. I don't know how she sleeps at night!!
There's not much left for me to do around the house. Jack loves to cook and clean. Now, if I can only teach him to do the laundry...

Sanford Look-alike Meter

I'm going to do this again once I can find a better picture of Danny. His picture was taken at an angle. I want to find one with a straight shot. But, let's be honest, Jack will still look like his momma!! However, when Jack was born I thought I had given birth to Danny (weird, I know!) he looked JUST LIKE him. Once I got some meat on him he looked more like me. Sad.

Bowling Adventure

My sister and I took the boys bowling at Jack and Jills. They even had bowling shoes for Jack and Reiss. Cute. Jack loved it. What he didn't love was waiting his turn. However, I would be willing to take them all there again. We all had a good time.

Some pictures of Jack doing his victory dance.

Shoot...

and Danny thought he was ridiculously goodlooking.

Punker Patch

Oh, how my little boy loves punkers (pumpkins). Really really loves them. Jack went to the pumpkin patch today and I really thought he would be in heaven with all the pumpkins. He just couldn't find the "right" one. We searched and searched. Finally, I just picked one. He kept telling me it was too big. In the end, he loved it.

Monster Jack

I thought it would be appropriate for Jack to be a monster for Halloween this year. He absolutely loves "scaring" people. But, he also hates to wear anything on his head. So, I wasn't sure how he would like it. Turns out the only problem I'm having is getting him to take it off. He loves it and it's hilarious to see him in it. I couldn't just choose a couple so enjoy several shots of my monster!

Good Decision

A big pat on the back to Heath Ledger's dad, Kim. I have been following the story ever since Heath Ledger passed away. Mostly because my heart broke for his little girl. It was said that everything was left to his dad and sisters. However, his dad has decided to give it all to Heath's little girl. It's only right, his assets belong to his daughter...it's like a gift from her dad. I think it speaks volumes about the kind of man Heath's dad is. What an amazing way to honor his son.
