*Sigh*

Stay Back...

Or they will get you!! Look at these fierce superheroes.

The Friendly Giant

Hello, can we say growth spurt? The other day I had Jack try on his winter coat and pants from last year. They were a little snug and a little short. So, I decided to get him a new coat and some new pants. But, I didn't realize how much he had grown until I put the 2 outfits next to each other. My kid is a GIANT! I'm constantly having people ask me if he is 4 years old. Sheesh, just because he wears a size 8 sneaker and is a little taller than the average 2 year old doesn't make him look 4...does it?

Jack's Loot

The other day Jack and I were out running errands and I kept thinking, "My purse gets heavier and heavier everyday." Seriously, I never know what's in it. I throw stuff in there and Jack is constantly asking me to hold something of his...which ends up getting chucked in my purse too. Anyway, I decided to see what all I had going on in there. Quite a bit, actually.

14 hotwheels
3 trains
3 airplanes
2 packages of fruit snacks
1 sippy cup

Ridiculous

Good Down To The Last Bite

I raised him well. What can I say? He knows never to waste chocolate ice cream. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw him literally licking the bowl. That's my boy!

My Little Man

After I got Jack ready for church this morning I had to sit back and just stare at him. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is such a big boy. But, he is a big boy that still needs his momma. When I took him to nursery he said, "Mom mom, I meed you." (yes, meed. not need.) As much as I wanted to slip out of the room, he melted my heart. I had to stay...come on, he meeded me. What's a mom to do?

Inked

Oh, my sweet precious little boy. I really won't be a bit surprised if he comes home one day with a tattoo. The kid loves ink. Either that or I do a horrible job at hiding the pens. I loves how he draws on himself and then comes and tells me that he's a mess.

Coming Home

Our vacation is over. We had fun and we are so glad we went. I took a few pictures of Jack on the plane. He cracks me up. He was pretending to be asleep.

Thank goodness for portable DVD players.

The Beach

Oh, how Jack loved the beach. It was his first time there and he loved it. He would just lay there and let the waves hit him. He loves the water...and judging from the pictures, he loves the sand too.

Disneyland Disaster

Well, I really thought Jack would love Disneyland. I was wrong. But, in his defense, he was extremely tired. He went to bed late the night before and had to get up at 6 am the next morning for Breakfast with Minnie. Once we got there, Captain Hook had to come make things worse. Jack didn't like him to say the least. That pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day. There were some rides that Jack didn't mind. But, all the others, he hated. I know that if he hadn't been tired he would have loved it. It had just been a busy week for him. He did enjoy the water area at Bug Land. That was the highlight of his entire day.

Of course, the little stinker falls asleep right as we get to the car. Couldn't fall asleep inside the park. Nope! (we had to buy him a new outfit. he was soaked from the water)

He liked Toon Town for about 2 seconds. Just long enough to go down the slide.

He did like Autopia though. Driving cars makes him happy.

California

Jack and I just got back from California today. We had so much fun. We met Danny's family there and Jack was the center of everyone's attention. He didn't want for anything....if he did, it was quickly taken care of. We stayed at the most amazing place. There was so much for us to do there.

Jack making a slam dunk. No big deal.

They had a play area for the kids and had something for them to do every second of the day. Jack and I went to a fun with beads class. I love how focused he is in this picture. Every time he got the bead on the string he belted out, "I DID IT, MOM!"

Um, after this picture was taken, we had to leave. Jack got really excited and dumped the beads...everywhere. That was fun to pick up. I'm sure they are still finding beads on the floor.

Blast Off!

Jack flew on an airplane for the first time on Monday. It was quite the experience. As soon as we got to the airport, he wanted to be on the plane right that very second. Then once we got on the plane it was only cool for the first 10 minutes. He said, "Rocket Ship all done, Mom. I want out!" Nice. But, they did let Jack go into the cock pit and sit in the captain's chair. He loved all the buttons and even pushed some of them. He thought he was pretty cool. Jack has really been obsessed with The Little Einsteins lately. So, he thought the airplane was a rocket ship. Once we started to take off Jack screams "BLAST OFF" at the top of his lungs. It was hilarious.

I got this harness that attaches to the lap belt at www.kidsflysafe.com. I knew if I didn't have it Jack would climb out of the lap belt. He did pretty good...

Until the end of the flight. Then he tried to escape.

So Glad...

I had a boy. I love love love finding him doing the sweetest things. I came downstairs the other night and found him staring at his cars. A neighbor of ours is letting Jack borrow these cars and he is obsessed with them. He can play with them for hours. Jack is growing up so fast...I hate it. I'm having so much fun with him right now, I just don't want this time to ever go away. Unfortunately, it going away fast. Jack's been calling me "mom" lately. Not "mommy" or "momma." But, "mom." My baby is growing up.

New Wheels

Jack's got a new ride. He's been gettin around on his new scooter. He didn't know what to think of it at first. But, he loves it now. He rides it all over in the house. He is constantly saying, "watch me, mom! watch me!"

Like Father Like Son

Seriously, Jack is a crack up. This is the get up that he wanted to put on the other night. I wondered where he got his sense of style...I know I'm not great, but I do try to coordinate. Then I remembered seeing a picture of Danny from when he was a kid...BINGO! He gets it from his dad. I remember Danny cracking up when he saw that picture. I can't wait to see Jack's reaction to this one when he is older.
