Last Stop...

Las Vegas
My sister in law, Kaity, was having her sweet 16 and I thought it would be fun to go down there and surprise her. So, the day of her party Jack and I jumped in the car and headed to Las Vegas. It was the longest drive. Jack would not take a nap. Would not watch any movies. Would not stop talking. We talked about everything....every cloud in the sky, every bug on my window, why cars were yellow, green or red, why he had to take baths, why there were cows in the field, why he couldn't pet the cows in the field, etc.
When we finally got there I couldn't wait to have someone else entertain him so I could go sit in a room. In silence.
No one was home.
I called up Grammy to see what she was doing and she was out running errands. I told her we were on their front porch. She got there in 10 minutes.
We had such a fun time. I'm so glad we went.
Here are a few highlights from the trip.

Little boy sleeping with daddy's blanket.

Danny

Jack helping Nana Woodfield with the strawberries.

Clearly he wasn't finished eating.

Jack with Grammy and Grandpa Sanford

Jack and Mommy being silly.

Jack and his horse, Azure.

"Helping" Grandpa put the car together.

Jack making breakfast with Grammy.

Oh my gosh, this is Jack in Danny's old outfit. Well, the shoes weren't Danny's. So, don't look at them. We found them at the last minute at some store. He had to wear something. Jack looked so cute. I wanted to eat him.

I got your comment about swim lessons and wanted to get you the information. The swim teacher is Pam Young and her phone number is 801-225-5753. She is amazing. The lessons are 4 times a week for only 10 minutes each lesson. They seem so short, but somehow they learn so much. She does the lessons at a pool in Orem. I have loved having my boys take lessons from her, she does such a great job!
