My Mom

My mom has been in Kansas helping her parents so I haven't been able to talk to her very much. Yeah okay, I still talk to her like 10 times a day. But, I just wanted her to know how much I love her. She is the most unselfish person I know. Everything she does, she does for her family. She has helped me get through a lot the past couple of years. Whenever I needed someone to talk to she was there. Even at 3 in the morning. I may have had to call several times, but she eventually picked up. She has given me some of the best advice. For example, The only way to mend a broken heart is to shop! Always have chocolate and Pepsi on hand...you never know when you might need it. I love you, Mom!!

I hired a Manny!!

Jack had his first experience with a male sitter last night. Yes, it's true! There was a get together a few doors down from me that I really wanted to go to. I knew if I took Jack I wouldn't be able to stay long. One of my neighbors came over and was raving about how great of a sitter this guy was that she knew. In fact, she said she left her own son with him. How bad could he be then, right? I took him over and Jack started playing...didn't even know I left. I'm at the get together having a good time. Almost relieved that I didn't have Jack with me. Because I was actually able to meet people. It was nice. Well, it had been awhile and I thought I should go and get Jack. Good thing I did!! I went outside and Jack was in the middle of the street with no shoes on and pushing a stroller! Not only that, he had blood on his feet. Poor little guy had fallen down.

Honestly, those are battle wounds from last weekend. (I just wanted to give Wade a hard time. Cause Jack really wasn't wearing shoes when they were outside playing.) Jack will hardly ever wear his shoes. So, this is what happens when you fall while pushing your dump truck. But, I did leave him with my neighbors husband. Jack had so much fun with him and Drew. Wade took him outside to play and Jack loved every second of it. Thanks Wade for watching Jack!! Here is a picture of Jack and his first sitter ever! By the way, he's free! So, if you need a sitter, I can give you his number.

Nana and Grandpa Woodfield

Jack was able to spend some time with his great grandma and grandpa Woodfield last Friday. Grandpa found the way to Jack's heart...cars. He bought several cars and played a game with Jack. Grandpa (Papa) is now his best friend. Jack is still pointing to my camera and saying "PAPA!" He just wants to see his picture. Nana gave him some fruit roll-ups and they are now his favorite thing to snack on. We are so glad we were able to visit with the two of you. We love you!!

Jack's Birthday Party

Jack had a Thomas the Train birthday party...I now hate trains. Jack had so much fun. My family and Danny's family were all there. So, Jack was getting plenty of attention. He got so many great presents. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate Jack's special day!!

Happy Birthday!!

My little guy turned 2 on May 7th. I can't believe it! He is growing up too fast. But, I love the stage he is in right now. He is so much fun...okay, minus the occasional temper tantrums. He really is fun though. He's got the best personality. He is always making me laugh. I love my little buddy!

I took Jack out to the cemetery on his birthday. He didn't want to be there at first. But, then he realized there are lots of things he's not supposed to play with out there...pin wheels, rocks, stuffed animals, etc. I got a couple pictures that I thought were really sweet. I love the one of him climbing on Danny's stone. It was actually quite entertaining to watch.

His cousins came over for cake and ice cream that night. Jack had such a fun day!
