I didn't get a chance to send out Christmas cards this year. So,I thought I would post some stinkin cute pictures of Jack. I absolutely love this guy. He makes every day a little easier...but, harder at the same time. If that makes any sense!
We hope all of you have a Merry Christmas!
Love, Traci & Jack

santa clause is coming...

this is jack describing to santa the dragon he wants

it has 2 horns, santa

to our house.

actually, he already came.

my dads grandpa would dress up as santa every year for the grandkids and my dad has continued that tradition for his grandkids. he has been doing it for as long as i can remember. when we lived in kansas, we would drive him around all over town taking him to christmas parties or to houses to surprise kids.

it's a pain to put on this heavy costume. it's hot too. but, we've never had to beg my dad to put it on. he's always willing to do whatever it takes to put a smile on these little faces.

love you pops! errrr i mean, santa!
ps jack might be catching on that it's papa in that costume. he looked at me with a serious look and said, "momma, papa is santa."

Good Ol' Vernal

vernal, utah may be small but they throw a mean *free* town party
the day after thanksgiving in vernal is nuts. they have 100 different activities that last all day...and they are all free. the had pony rides, camel rides, train rides, ferris wheel, rock climbing, free cotton candy, free hot cocoa, free everything.
we had a lot of fun...even though we did freeze our rumps off. my dad was such a champ and tagged along with me as my date so i didn't have to go at it alone.

the 2 trouble makers

jack loved loved loved the ponies. he was very specific about what color of pony he wanted...it had to be black. because he is spoiled rotten another little boy let him have his way.

just going to let it be known that if you own one of these vintage car things, i think you're dumb. next time you want to waste $300 on crap, just give it to me. every kid who tried these things ended up in tears. they were too hard to pedal. jack kept saying how dumped (dumb) it was. he was frustrated to say the least.

waiting for the parade
i have never been to a parade at night before. this was actually pretty neat.

jack is his papa's boy! he loved the ferris wheel! well, until he saw that aunt libby had gotten him a cotton candy. at which point he started yelling, "hey, man, get me out of here!" " mom, this man won't stop it. it's not stopping!!"

finally stopped

not positive....

but

i

think

he liked it

Thanksgiving

i didn't take a bunch of pictures on thanksgiving.
jack was being a stinker and wouldn't let me take any.

jack and reiss wrestled all morning....
which exhausted jack...he fell asleep before thanksgiving dinner

Makin Change

Almost 2 weeks ago Jack came up to me with the
most worried look on his face.

Jack: Mom, how are we going to get this out?
Me: Get what out, bud?
Jack: The honies.
Me: WHAT?!
Jack: I smallowed a penny.

Yeah, we're still waiting for him to cash out.

What's Your Princess Name?

Jack to my Mom
Jack: Nana, what's your princess name?
Nana: I don't know. What should it be?
Jack: How about Princess Tommy?
Nana: Princess Tommy? Okay.
Jack: I don't know how to play this mess.
Random!

This little boy is a loose cannon. I never know what he's thinking or what could possibly come out of this mouth. My mom and I were trying to get him to go to sleep the other night. It had been quiet for quite a while. I thought for sure he was out. All of sudden, I hear Jack, "Nana, you make super noises like Papa!" (snoring) Of course this makes us all laugh. A little bit later my mom got up to get something and when she came back this is what happened.
Jack: Nana, you got the biggest bum I've ever seen.
Nana: Jack, you have the biggest mouth I've ever seen.
Jack: Nana, it's okay. I like them big. I have a little bum. I like big bums.
We gave up trying to put him to sleep.

Road Trip

Jack and I went on a last minute road trip to Idaho a couple weeks ago. We had a lot of fun. Jack was able to play with his cousins and run wild.

Jack and Drake

Kimber-she is just so pretty. I love her eyes.

These kids made me a nervous wreck. I was sure one of them would fly off. They have no fear.

Koltin-I'm still in love with this little boy.

Clown Face- What can I say? We got bored. Oh, and Jack is scared to death of clowns.

Wide Open Spaces
this picture cracks me up

Jack and Nana waiting for the infamous cuckoo clock.

Uncle Kelly took Jack to see the animals. Thank you, Kelly! Jack loved it!

Jack and Halo
Drake and Halo are the best dogs.

Jack and Grandpa Leo
I love watching grandpa with the little kids. Reminds me of when I was little.

Grandma Cleo and Jack
Grandma had surgery on her hip and Jack loves to tell everyone about it.

2 Funny Things

Last week I asked Jack to put all the toys away in his room.
His response...
(GASP!) You're not my best friend forever anymore, mom! Only Nana! I going to tell Nana that you told me to pick up! She will be soooooooo sad!
A couple days ago we were at my sisters house and the boys were playing outside. Jack ran out in the street and I hollered at him to get back on the sidewalk. I told him he could not play in the street.
Jack: But, Caden is riding his bike in the street.
Me: Well, I'm your mommy and I'm telling you that you can not play in the street.
Jack: But, you're not my mommy anymore. Nana is my mommy and she said, "Yes, Jackers, you can play in the street."
Me: Whatever, just get back on the sidewalk.
Sheesh! This little boy!!
Oh, his new thing is "Oh, Brother!" It's too funny.

Jack couldn't make up his mind on what he wanted to be for Halloween this year. He went from wanting to be a puppy to a Power Ranger to a Ninja and finally to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

In the end, he was a puppy. The cutest one I might add.

We went over to the Thompson's and ended up trick or treating in their neighborhood. I can't believe how crazy it was. There were kids everywhere. We had a lot of fun.

This was taken after we were done trick or treating. Jack loved passing out the candy to everyone.

Drew and Jack-they were hilarious. Running from house to house.

Me and my puppy, George.

Jack is quite the candy man. He knows what he likes and doesn't like. At one of the houses he went to the lady brought out the basket of candy and let him choose what he wanted. He looked around and then said, "No thank you. I don't like that candy. Bye!" It was hilarious. Of course, we had a have a quick talk about just taking whatever they are giving out and say thank you.
