I hired a Manny!!

Jack had his first experience with a male sitter last night. Yes, it's true! There was a get together a few doors down from me that I really wanted to go to. I knew if I took Jack I wouldn't be able to stay long. One of my neighbors came over and was raving about how great of a sitter this guy was that she knew. In fact, she said she left her own son with him. How bad could he be then, right? I took him over and Jack started playing...didn't even know I left. I'm at the get together having a good time. Almost relieved that I didn't have Jack with me. Because I was actually able to meet people. It was nice. Well, it had been awhile and I thought I should go and get Jack. Good thing I did!! I went outside and Jack was in the middle of the street with no shoes on and pushing a stroller! Not only that, he had blood on his feet. Poor little guy had fallen down.

Honestly, those are battle wounds from last weekend. (I just wanted to give Wade a hard time. Cause Jack really wasn't wearing shoes when they were outside playing.) Jack will hardly ever wear his shoes. So, this is what happens when you fall while pushing your dump truck. But, I did leave him with my neighbors husband. Jack had so much fun with him and Drew. Wade took him outside to play and Jack loved every second of it. Thanks Wade for watching Jack!! Here is a picture of Jack and his first sitter ever! By the way, he's free! So, if you need a sitter, I can give you his number.

Nana and Grandpa Woodfield

Jack was able to spend some time with his great grandma and grandpa Woodfield last Friday. Grandpa found the way to Jack's heart...cars. He bought several cars and played a game with Jack. Grandpa (Papa) is now his best friend. Jack is still pointing to my camera and saying "PAPA!" He just wants to see his picture. Nana gave him some fruit roll-ups and they are now his favorite thing to snack on. We are so glad we were able to visit with the two of you. We love you!!

Jack's Birthday Party

Jack had a Thomas the Train birthday party...I now hate trains. Jack had so much fun. My family and Danny's family were all there. So, Jack was getting plenty of attention. He got so many great presents. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate Jack's special day!!

Happy Birthday!!

My little guy turned 2 on May 7th. I can't believe it! He is growing up too fast. But, I love the stage he is in right now. He is so much fun...okay, minus the occasional temper tantrums. He really is fun though. He's got the best personality. He is always making me laugh. I love my little buddy!

I took Jack out to the cemetery on his birthday. He didn't want to be there at first. But, then he realized there are lots of things he's not supposed to play with out there...pin wheels, rocks, stuffed animals, etc. I got a couple pictures that I thought were really sweet. I love the one of him climbing on Danny's stone. It was actually quite entertaining to watch.

His cousins came over for cake and ice cream that night. Jack had such a fun day!

Tummy Ache

Jack had a horrible case of the flu. It started Tuesday morning around 6 o'clock in the morning and didn't stop until last night around 6:30. He's doing tons better. Jack's doctor suggested that I take him to the emergency room to make sure it was just the flu and not something else. I also wanted to make sure he wasn't getting dehydrated. I was sure there was going to be needles involved. Luckily, Jack was in good shape. They gave him something to help with the nausea. He has been doing great since then. Jack was awesome at the hospital. I thought for sure he would cry. Nope! I'm proud of him for being so brave.

My Buddy and Me

Jack's cousins came to visit last week. He and Reiss are best buddies. It's so cute to hear Jack say, "Reissy!" Jack wanted to do whatever Reiss was doing. Whenever we were eating he had to have the exact plate, cup and spoon as Reiss.

Where's the blue marker?

Jack and his cousin, Caden, had been drawing and making things last night. When it came time to clean up we couldn't find the blue marker. I looked under the paper and under the table. My stomach dropped...I knew Jack had it. Yes, he was on the couch coloring "Chow." He was just lauging and laughing. Little stink pot!

Gym Class

We had our gym class today and Jack had so much fun. Nana came to watch him and get some pictures. Of course, Jack had to show off. We discovered that Jack likes the rings. He was hanging from them and swinging. We did it over and over and over.

Final Score...75-68

Fine, I'll admit it. I'm kind of a fair weathered fan. Maybe I only watch a couple games during the season. Big deal! It doesn't get exciting for me until it gets down to the nitty gritty. Last nights game was so fun to watch with Jack. He was standing in front of the TV yelling "ROCK ROCK!" (Rock Chalk) He really got into it. We had fun cheering for the Jayhawks.

Jack started cheering for the Jayhawks at a young age...thanks Crystal for this outfit. I think he only fit into for about a minute. He was huge!!

Naughty

Jack thought it was funny to spit his chocolate milk out. I didn't.
